Job Summary

Leads and directs the daily operations of a restaurant and consistently delivers an exceptional guest and employee experience; leads and develops the front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) teams while fostering our Culture of Caring; and assists the General Manager (GM) in driving sales, managing costs, growing the business with a focus on the following areas: ensuring day-to-day business operations run smoothly; assisting training, recruiting, HR and administrative duties; assisting with financials and statement preparation; updating host and service side work and organization for those areas; and assisting the GM with customer service inquiries and follow-up.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and supervise daily shifts, ensuring smooth operations and a great guest and team experience.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to both hourly and management teams while fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Respond promptly to guest and employee needs, addressing feedback effectively.
  • Assist in managing costs, driving sales, and achieving financial goals.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and development of both FOH and BOH employees.
  • Assist the General Manager in developing and managing the leadership team.
  • Monitor and document employee performance, providing feedback and handling disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Conduct sanitation checks, pre-shift line checks, and shift walk-throughs.
  • Handle cash banks, secure financial transactions, and oversee inventory control.
  • Ensure food safety, proper storage, quality, and presentation standards are met.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and alcohol management laws.
  • Oversee restaurant maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Work flexible schedules, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and occasional travel.
  • Operate all necessary restaurant tools, equipment, and management software.
  • Multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, and work in varying environmental conditions.
