Westlake is hiring a Customer Service Supervisor to lead an inside sales / customer service team supporting a high-volume manufacturing and distribution operation.
This role sits at the intersection of customers, production, and logistics—ensuring orders move accurately and efficiently from entry to delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop a team of 4+ Customer Service / Inside Sales reps
- Oversee order flow from order entry → production → warehouse → shipping → invoicing
- Partner closely with:
- Warehouse & Distribution teams
- Production / Plant operations
- Sales teams
- Monitor and improve:
- Order accuracy & turnaround time
- On-time shipments
- Customer satisfaction (CSAT)
- Manage open orders, backorders, and delivery timelines
- Identify issues on the floor and in the system—then fix root causes, not just symptoms
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA) for order management and visibility
What You Bring
- 5+ years in Customer Service, Inside Sales, or Order Management in:
- Manufacturing
- Warehouse / Distribution environments
- 3+ years of team leadership experience
- Strong understanding of:
- Order flow through production and warehouse operations
- Inventory, shipping, and fulfillment processes
- Hands-on ERP experience (SAP preferred)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with competing priorities
Nice to Have
- Pipe, fittings, or industrial product experience
- Six Sigma / Lean manufacturing exposure
- Experience working directly with plant or warehouse teams
Role Details
- Onsite: Lodi, CA (plant-connected office)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM core hours)
- Travel: Up to 15% (plants, DCs, customer visits)
- Relocation: Available (case-by-case)
