huck E. Cheese is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Prep team member to assist in preparing fresh ingredients for our menu items. As a Food Prep staff member, you will be responsible for ensuring ingredients are ready for cooking, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and supporting the kitchen staff in delivering high-quality food in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and portioning items for pizzas, salads, and other menu items.
- Maintain a clean and organized prep area and kitchen workspace.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Restock ingredients and supplies, ensuring the kitchen is well-prepared for service.
- Assist kitchen staff with additional prep tasks and other duties as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food prep or a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
