
Head Baker
Upscale Restaurant (Scratch Kitchen, High Volume)
Salary: $50-65k base
Location: Dallas to Plano
The Head Baker will partner with the GM and Executive Chef teams to oversee daily operations of the baking department and train staff in various techniques and skills. You must be innovative in creating new bakery items and standardize production recipes. You will also manage scheduling, labor costs, work with vendors managing pricing and products, quality control and provide solutions to staff conflict and customer satisfaction.
Required:
· Culinary Degree with 10+ years Head Baker experience in high profile, full-service restaurants, hotels, or resorts.
· Experience working in scratch kitchens, and must have high volume experience.
· Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills with staff and customers
· Must have strong tenure, no job hopping!!!! 3+ years each location
· Bilingual a plus
