Hiring: Restaurant General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager
Location: Chicago, IL
Salary: $65,000 – $90,000
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to help lead the operations of our high-end restaurant. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, as well as providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s operations, from hiring and training staff to managing inventory and financials. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and hospitality, and have a proven track record of success in managing high-end restaurants.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant’s operations, including hiring and training staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that our guests have an exceptional dining experience
- Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase business
- Manage financials, including budgets, payroll, and expenses
- Analyze sales and financial reports and make data-driven decisions to improve performance
- Create and implement policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and consistency
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food quality
- Collaborate with the chef to develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of our guests
Qualifications:
- At least 3-4 years of experience in restaurant management, with a proven track record of success in managing high-end restaurants
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in using POS systems and Microsoft Office
- A Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field preferred
