Restaurant Shift Supervisor – Corner Bakery Café

$21/hr

Corner Bakery Café is hiring a Restaurant Shift Supervisor to help run daily restaurant operations, coach team members, and create a friendly, guest-focused environment. You’ll oversee shift execution, support opening/closing, assist with catering, and help maintain high food safety and cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise restaurant employees and support labor/cost goals
  • Lead guest service and handle guest recovery
  • Assist with inventory counts, ordering, receiving, and product zoning
  • Ensure execution of Master Prep and production sheets
  • Perform opening and closing equipment/process procedures
  • Complete end-of-night paperwork and shift reports
  • Manage cash handling and deposits (safe/bank procedures)
  • Support catering: delivery, production, order taking, and issue resolution
  • Ensure meal/rest break compliance
  • Maintain Foodhandler/ServSafe certifications
  • Uphold food safety and restaurant cleanliness standards
  • Work with outside vendors and sales programs as needed

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Foodhandler card / ServSafe certification (as applicable)
  • 6+ months experience in restaurant operations (Corner Bakery or similar concept)
  • Strong guest service and communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to lead a team
  • Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel + POS experience
  • Spanish bilingual a plus
