Service Manager – $60,000-$75,000

Lettuce Entertain You is looking for a Service Manager with 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service environment. This Service Manager will oversee daily operations, with a unique focus on leading service alongside our front of house teams.

Aba Nashville is opening in the Houston/Wedgewood neighborhood in the Summer of 2025! Aba is a Mediterranean restaurant with additional locations in Chicago, and Austin. Aba, meaning father in Hebrew, is a Mediterranean restaurant with a California influence. The menu features Chef CJ Jacobson’s modern approach to Mediterranean cooking and the beverage program showcases spirits and rare wines from lesser known Mediterranean regions.

Job Summary

Maintains primary focus on running shifts; leads and directs the daily operations of a restaurant and consistently delivers an exceptional guest and employee experience; leads and develops the front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) teams while fostering our Culture of Caring; and assists the General Manager (GM) in driving sales, managing costs, growing the business. Also leads pre-shift meetings and participates in line, temperature and cooler checks; oversee all closing manager duties including counting down the safe, reviewing labor sheets and preparing nightly numbers email; and updates and maintains side work and cleanliness.

Essential Functions

• Lead and oversee smooth daily operations, ensuring a great guest and team experience.
• Provide leadership and support to both FOH and BOH teams while fostering a positive culture.
• Assist in managing costs, driving sales, and achieving financial goals.
• Hire, train, schedule, and develop employees, ensuring strong team performance.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, food quality, storage, and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and alcohol management.
• Perform inventory checks, place orders, and inspect deliveries.
• Handle cash banks, balances, and financial transactions securely.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate key operational updates.
• Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and occasional travel.
• Safely operate all restaurant equipment and management software.
• Lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
