
Hiring: Sous Chef
Upscale Restaurant (Scratch Kitchen, High Volume)
Location: Dallas to Plano
Salary: $60-65k Base+ Bonus
The Sous Chef works closely with the General Manager and Executive Chef to develop quality food, managing kitchen staff and assisting in growing the business. You will monitor all the food that enters and leaves the kitchen, including prepping, cooking, plating and temperature. Train the kitchen staff on how to properly cook and handle the food, create staff schedules, order food supplies and kitchen equipment, and inventory the food products and provide solutions to staff conflict and customer satisfaction.
Required:
· Culinary Degree with 4+ years Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef experience in high profile, high-volume restaurants, hotels, or resorts.
· Experience working in scratch kitchens, and must have high volume experience.
· Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills with staff and customers.
· Must have strong tenure, no job hopping!!!! 3+ years each location
